Children's Music Journey Overview    When I was homeschooling my daughters I went searching for materials to use to teach them music.  Music is more than just learning an instrument, it involved, theory, ear training, note reading, music history and much more.  I spent money through the years on the latest thing that came out, but never found a program that could teach everything that my girls needed to know.  I needed the software that Adventus makes, which takes children from the age of 4 through graduation and gives them a comprehensive music program.  Children's Music Journey by Adventus, comes in 3 volumes with 25 lessons in each.  Each lesson is taught by a famous composer and it is really rewarding when children tell us that their teacher is Mr. Bach or Mr. Joplin.  Parents, the exciting news for you is that you can guide your child through their lessons when you sign up for the home subscription.  You will be sent a teacher's guide which gives you additional games and songs to complete your music program.  This would have been worth far more than Adventus charges in the time it would have saved me and the results I would have had.  This is coming from a music teacher, studio owner!  Let me know if you would like to give it a try.  Guitar Center is working with me to give parents an extra discount on pianos that can be connected to your computer (midi keyboards).  I've done all the research and leg work, you can relax and know that your child is getting the best.
